NostalgicPrologue
Apparently there is another place where I have nothing to worry about anymore. It's a place where I'm able to think for myself and be free from this hell that most people call 'life'. I have no details of what it is called, nor do I know how to get there, but I've been trying for the past few years of my life.
How old am I now? Right, I'm fifteen. I was only a little girl when everything changed. When new laws were enforced and a new government took over after the country had just been through a state of anarchy. Who was our savior? I don't know his name, but I sure as hell hate him.
Whatever happened to freedom? I know that the anarchy that we were in started several years before I was born. But I also know that the world was nice. There was a government. It was a good one- not the one like we have now. It was fair and peaceful; all because of something that people had called democracy.

Help a Vocaloid Beginner - no sound during playback in UTAU
Hello! I'm new to the world of vocaloid, and I'm a little confused. I'm hoping I can get some help.
I installed UTAU and I have a soundbank titled 'Etsuko Akane.' I think it's English, but I could be wrong. It seems to have installed correctly, since I can see the soundbank's character-illustration.
The problem is when I add notes. I write a syllable in the lyric box (for example, 'a'), then I click the 'insert lyrics' button. A new note is created in the piano roll, but I hear nothing during playback.
What am I missing? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
